Overview

miRToolsGallery is a database of miRNA tools. It provides the following services: (a) Search(b) Filter and (c) Rank the tools. Our database aim to make it easy for researchers to find the right tools or data source for their own specific study in miRNA field. And it’s also very convenient for writing a tools review paper. Now we have collect above 1000 tools. miRToolsGallery will update when every new 100 tools add in. The first public online was in 1st Oct, 2016, and latest update time is 22nd April, 2018(v1.2).

  • Filter and Rank : Give user max flexibility to filter and rank the tools and return a table view.
  • Tutorials : Give two application examples and tell user how to use miRToolsGallery.
  • Tags Gallery : Print Word Cloud for the tags.
  • Logo Gallery : Randomly list logo of tools in the database, give each tool evenly opportunity to be find by user.
  • Review Paper Gallery : List the collection of miRNA tools review papers.
  • Submit Tools : We still need all user's kindly help to improve the miRToolsGallery.
  • Contact us : User can get in touch with us through this page to send feedback.

iBeetle-Base

Submitted by ChenLiang on Fri, 09/02/2016 - 21:59

The iBeetle-Base (http://ibeetle-base.uni-goettingen.de) makes available annotations of RNAi phenotypes, which were gathered in a large scale RNAi screen in the red flour beetle Tribolium castaneum (iBeetle screen). In addition, it provides access to sequence information and links for all Tribolium castaneum genes.

DSAP

Submitted by ChenLiang on Fri, 09/02/2016 - 21:59

DSAP is an automated multiple-task web service designed to provide a total solution to analyzing deep-sequencing small RNA datasets generated by next-generation sequencing technology. DSAP uses a tab-delimited file as an input format, which holds the unique sequence reads (tags) and their corresponding number of copies generated by the Solexa sequencing platform.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are single-stranded non-coding RNAs known to regulate a wide range of cellular processes by silencing the gene expression at the protein and/or mRNA levels. Computational prediction of miRNA targets is essential for elucidating the detailed functions of miRNA. However, the prediction specificity and sensitivity of the existing algorithms are still poor to generate meaningful, workable hypotheses for subsequent experimental testing.

VIRmiRNA

Submitted by ChenLiang on Fri, 09/02/2016 - 21:59

Viral microRNAs (miRNAs) regulate gene expression of viral and/or host genes to benefit the virus. Hence, miRNAs play a key role in host-virus interactions and pathogenesis of viral diseases. Lately, miRNAs have also shown potential as important targets for the development of novel antiviral therapeutics. Although several miRNA and their target repositories are available for human and other organisms in literature, but a dedicated resource on viral miRNAs and their targets are lacking.

miRNAkey

Submitted by ChenLiang on Fri, 09/02/2016 - 21:59

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are short abundant non-coding RNAs critical for many cellular processes. Deep sequencing (next-generation sequencing) technologies are being readily used to receive a more accurate depiction of miRNA expression profiles in living cells. This type of analysis is a key step towards improving our understanding of the complexity and mode of miRNA regulation.
